Triple Win at the Global Carrier Awards 2018
Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier is the proud recipient of not one, not two, but three awards at the Global Carrier Awards in London.
The wholesale business of Deutsche Telekom has just won an amazing total of three awards at this year’s Global Carrier Awards. The wins were for Best European Project, Best Pan-European Wholesale Carrier and Best Global Wholesale Carrier Data. The ceremony was held on October 24th during Capacity Europe, wholesale telecom’s largest global industry event.
Rolf Nafziger, Senior Vice President Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier, said, “We are truly honored to take home these awards. The Best European Project was won for the truly innovative European Aviation Network (EAN), which offers unprecedented broadband connectivity on flights across Europe. Prizes for the two other awards were due to the many accomplishments Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier demonstrated to the judges. Those were in a wide variety of areas such as with security solutions, IP enhancements, IoT services, Wi-Fi roaming, or DT’s support of a large-capacity terrestrial network between Moscow and Frankfurt, and more.
