Tele2 and Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier Announce Exclusive Voice Partnership

Stockholm, Sweden and Bonn, Germany August 4, 2022 – Swedish telecom operator Tele2 and Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier, the wholesale division of Deutsche Telekom, have signed a partnership agreement covering international Voice activities of Tele2 Group.

Tele2 have selected Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier as a partner based on its long-standing industry experience, high quality standards, global footprint for direct termination, and best in class fraud management solution.

As part of this collaboration, Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier will be Tele2’s exclusive gateway for all incoming and outgoing international voice traffic using its voice aggregation solution “United Voice”, and a customized “Fraud Protection” package.  The partnership will deliver substantial benefits through Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier’s scale and trusted expertise in the international voice business.
