Success Story at Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier!

The restart of the German Soccer League “Bundesliga” and the first two rounds of the Champions League were streamed via internet and brought a new all-time traffic high in Deutsche Telekom’s international backbone AS3320. 
In fact, within the last 14 days we peaked at an incredible, nearly 21 Tbps!

This is 3 times more traffic than the biggest European Internet Exchange handled at that time and it again justifies our strategy to directly connect content sources and content destinations to our backbone. That allows us to offer the highest quality with the least amount of hops to all our customers, on the content and the viewer side.
