Bonn, September 30, 2020 – As of October 1, 2020, Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier will be transferred from Deutsche Telekom’s European Board area into the subsidiary Telekom Deutschland GmbH. This migration follows a move of the T-Systems B2B telecommunications units, which already joined Telekom Deutschland on July 1, 2020. Rolf Nafziger, Senior Vice President Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier is now responsible for both, the international B2B and the international wholesale business.
Deutsche Telekom initiated the migration in order to consolidate the wide range of international telecommunication services it provides to business and carrier customers around the world. The result will be strengthened wholesale and B2B telecommunications activities.
Rolf Nafziger, Senior Vice President Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier, said, “With this step we are bundling our expertise to deliver enhanced telecommunication services to our customers. They will profit from consolidation of all international activities and strengths, creation of transparent service offerings and streamlined global processes. I’m pleased to take over responsibility for our international wholesale and B2B services.”
With increased scale and network utilization, Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier assures of its continued offering of high-quality global connectivity and services to the wholesale market at large. The migration also provides international clients with easier access to Deutsche Telekom’s strong German network footprint.
