Now – Connect Directly To and From Asia and Asian OTTs with Enhanced Services
Thanks to a recently initiated partnership between Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier and China Mobile International Limited (CMI), direct connectivity services to and from Asia are now greatly enhanced. This was made possible with the launch of a Point of Presence (PoP) at CMI’s data center in Moerfelden, Germany, which enables the delivery of our outstanding access and transport solutions. It additionally provides access to many major content providers and OTTS and, due to CMI’s 62 European PoPs and 28 PoPs in Africa and the Middle East, extends our coverage in those areas.
As of November 1, 2021, global customers of both companies are able to enjoy our services via the new PoP. Those include our unparalleled Encrypted Lambda, which encrypts data while in transit. Compared to competitor products, it can handle extremely large volumes at lower costs and with higher security and performance. Other offerings are our scalable, high-capacity Lambda Connect; future-proof IP VPN portfolio; innovative Ethernet Line/LAN solutions; Secure Cloud Connect for fast access to CSPs; and direct connection to the internet via IP-Connect.
The cooperation makes it possible for all German and international clients linked to Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier’s PoPs to directly connect to and from China. Our customers currently within the CMI data center will be able to immediately take advantage of the many benefits, one of which is the ability to gain access to cloud providers Alibaba or Tencent.
