Moldtelecom S.A. and Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier enter into an exclusive voice partnership

Chisinau, Moldova and Bonn, Germany – October 28, 2021 – Moldtelecom S.A., the national telecommunications operator of the Republic of Moldova, and Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier, the wholesale division of Deutsche Telekom, have signed a voice partnership contract covering international telephony for inbound and outbound traffic and toll-free services. As part of the upcoming collaboration, Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier will be Moldtelecom’s exclusive international gateway for all incoming and outgoing international voice traffic and ITFS/UIFN services effective November 1, 2021.

After an extensive tender procedure, Moldtelecom S.A. selected Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier as the winner based on its compelling United Voice aggregation solution, long-standing industry experience and reliable implementation. With a geo-redundant state-of-the-art network, dedicated treatment and customized fraud protection, the United Voice aggregation solution matches Moldtelecom’s key requirements perfectly. The partnership will deliver substantial benefits through Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier’s scale and trusted expertise in the international voice business.
