Leadership Change: Tamás Sándor to Head Access & Transport Services
Stuart Evers, Vice President Access & Transport Services, has decided to leave Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier to pursue new challenges outside the Deutsche Telekom Group.
Over the last two years Stuart helped drive our Carrier and OTT business in the Access and Transport area to new heights. During his time at Deutsche Telekom the world faced the Corona pandemic, adding additional tasks to his already busy schedule. Stuart was successfully managing our Access & Transport business through the crisis ensuring business continuity for our customers’ critical business needs. His invaluable contribution has had a significant impact on our ability to provide a great customer experience during this ongoing difficult time. Additionally, he successfully enlarged our customer base and service portfolio by pushing our Lambda business introducing Encrypted Lambda and the first European 800G network based on Ciena technology.
Stuart’s position will be taken over by Tamás Sándor, currently Vice President Voice & Mobile Services at Global Carrier. We are delighted to have found an experienced successor with a proven track record in the international wholesale business. After leading our Global Voice Trading business for many years, Tamás took over responsibility of the combined Voice & Mobile area two years ago.
He successfully transformed our Voice & Mobile business during that time and strengthened its operations in a challenging market environment. Tamás redefined the way we run this business area paving the way for a future-proof Voice & Mobile business. He is the perfect fit to continue our journey in providing the best solutions and services in the Access & Transport Services arena.
Tamás will start his new role on April 1st, 2021. His previous role will be temporarily taken over by Gergely Vadas and Joerg Debus until the final successor has been placed.
