Ethernet Mobile Access awarded for the second time in 2019
On the evening of December 10, during the Telecom Review Excellence Awards Ceremony in Dubai, Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier was recognized as “Most Innovative Product / Solution (Operator)” with "Ethernet Mobile Access". It is a new feature to our Ethernet Line and LAN offerings, which provides true mobile Ethernet access for global sites via Layer 2. This is the second award we have received for this innovative solution in 2019. Charlie Warda from our sales team was at the event and collected the prize for Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier.
The award ceremony was the highlight of the Telecom Review Leaders Summit 2019 in Dubai, where leaders of the ICT industry had the chance to meet and network in an exclusive atmosphere. With a high number of award nominations to sift through, the jury of ICT veterans chose winners in 24 Excellence Awards categories and 4 Merit Awards categories.
The awards recognize those market-leading companies that have made significant accomplishments during the past year.
The fact that our Ethernet Mobile Access won the "Most Innovative Product / Solution (Operator)” award, proves once again that we are on the right track with our future-oriented Access & Transport Portfolio development.
With this innovative service, organizations are able to access their sites even at hard-to-reach or temporary locations, via Ethernet. That makes it the first real alternative to fixed-line, copper and fiber methods. Based on Deutsche Telekom’s MPLS global IP backbone, it is quick to set up, which means it is additionally a welcome interim solution while waiting for terrestrial lines.
