According to Kaleido Intelligence, 5G data roaming traffic generated by consumer mobile and IoT connections will exceed 2,500 Petabytes in 2026, representing a CAGR of 320%.

5G Signaling, Security and Quality of Service
DTGC’s solutions portfolio includes the 5G signaling, security and quality of service areas. Our enable international, real-time transport and delivery of signaling messages allowing users to connect to other providers through Deutsche Telekom’s powerful global signaling network. Our network provides access to over 800 mobile networks in more than 200 countries.
Additionally, DTGC is able to protect operator clients against fraud and abuse through our powerful . We are extending our already big security portfolio of SS7-, GTP- and Diameter-Firewall to include DESS (Diameter E2E Signaling Security), SEPP (Security Edge Protection Proxy) and Hosted SEPP solutions.
In the quality of service area, we offer to support 5G use cases now and in the future. Our Regional Breakout solution enables low-latency data roaming for mission-critical IoT/M2M solutions. We are bringing Regional Packet Gateways (RPGs) closer to our customers worldwide as we further expand our reach in multiple locations. We are also investing in cloudification, for example, by providing cloud connect services for the IPX ecosystem. This supports operators during their cloudification process and guarantees low latency in any roaming scenario.
