Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier is IPX Champion
The Kaleido recognition for Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier’s IPX Network and Roaming services is a triple high score in the Kaleido Intelligence Roaming Vendor Hub October 2021 update. The market research firm highlights our strong IPX network expertise and our success in providing excellent customer experiences, giving us again an IPX Champion score. Our Roaming Analytics & VAS services as well as Steering of Roaming services both scored the Kaleido High Flyer mark.
We have achieved the Kaleido Champion score for our IPX network for the third consecutive time. Kaleido Intelligence rates us as one of the strongest players in the overall European IPX Provider market. Our IPX network reliably handles ever-increasing data traffic volumes and enables future mobile communications technologies. The most prominent of those developments are 5G, IoT, Big Data, VoLTE, rich communication and blockchain. At the same time, we ensure that we meet the requirements of current and legacy services. That’s why our IPX network implements different technologies for specific needs and is well catered to various data usage applications from low latency IoT roaming networks to data-intensive 5G networks. The scope of our IPX network is global: our coverage with peering agreements reaches more than 800 roaming partners. We were also first in the IPX world to introduce 100G network interfaces.
Kaleido’s High Flyer recognitions follow our recently extended Value Added Services within our Signaling portfolio – including Steering of Roaming, which is powered by TOMIA and supports OTA, signaling and hybrid-based steering – as well as advanced traffic analytics and intelligence tools using Big Data and AI for the entire roaming connectivity services (IPX, GRX, Signalling).
Our recently launched IPX Navigator, developed in collaboration with Deutsche Telekom spin-off BENOCS, is an IPX and data roaming monitoring solution that provides advanced end-to-end monitoring of IPX traffic flow in near real time. The solution provides a high-level, easy to read visualization over a customizable dashboard and shows complete data roaming traffic flows from all partner providers over one display. It addresses a common problem for Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) as they often work with multiple IPX providers for data roaming but are unable to see detailed analytics for their IPX traffic flow.
