Award-Winning Solution: Ethernet Mobile Access

We won! Last night we took home the honors in the category of New Market Innovation at the Carriers World Awards in London. The winning solution was our Ethernet Mobile Access, which provides true mobile Layer 2 Ethernet access for global sites. It is a new feature to our already existing Ethernet LINE and LAN services.

With this service, organizations are able to access their sites even at hard-to-reach or temporary locations, via Ethernet. That makes it the first real alternative to fixed-line, copper and fiber methods. Based on Deutsche Telekom’s MPLS global IP backbone, it is quick to set up, which means it is also a welcome provisional solution while waiting for terrestrial lines.
