Another Trophy for Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier
We’ve won yet another honor, this time the highly acclaimed Innovation Award for Operators, with our European Aviation Network (EAN) solution.
The award was presented at the World Communication Award gala in London on October 31st. It was a notable prize as we were in hot competition with the top innovations of other leading providers. EAN, however, stands out from the crowd as it is a genuinely one-of-a-kind service. It offers, for the first time, true broadband connectivity on flights across Europe.
Rolf Nafziger, Senior Vice President Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier, was on hand to receive the trophy. He said, “EAN is a win-win solution for passengers as well as airlines. Not only does it give passengers the kind of Wi-Fi experience they’re used to at home, it also provides airlines with new revenue streams and boosts their brand image.”
This award comes on the heels of our big win at the Global Carrier Awards, just one week prior to the World Communications Award.
At that gala, we took home a grand total of three awards for Best European Project, Best Pan-European Wholesale Carrier and Best Global Wholesale Carrier Data. All of our recent awards are testimony to our unfailing dedication to providing solutions that support the entire telecommunications marketplace.
