Awarded for innovation with unique Universal Wi-Fi Access
Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier is celebrating another big win! This time for ‚Best Voice/Data Service Innovation‘ at the GCCM Carrier Community Global Awards 2019 in Berlin.
Our novel Universal Wi-Fi Access solution was found to be the strongest entry, despite tough competition from international peers.
Universal Wi-Fi Access is the perfect way for Mobile Network Operators to swiftly give their customers connectivity across Deutsche Telekom’s entire Wi-Fi footprint, including DT’s in-flight Wi-Fi network.
All without the need for a dedicated platform or backend integration project. This is a white-labelled service that can be set up with no or very little infrastructure.

With Universal Wi-Fi Access, service providers are able to interact with end users and offer a true personal experience. That’s because applications or platforms like a website or virtual assistant can be incorporated. After credentials are generated and uploaded, users receive access codes directly on their devices. The number of devices and sessions for each credential can be controlled, a feature that additionally offers protection against fraud.
